Lexus is gearing up the teasers of its LF-1 Limitless concept car, with a new teaser being released.
Before it gets its full reveal at the Detroit Motor Show, it shows off its start-up sequence.
The light dance, which involves the whole front end of the car, is quite mesmerising (have a look at the video below).
The car is clearly a preview of a coming production model, most likely being a hybrid, with the backlit blue badge giving the game away.
Previously, we saw two rear-mounted displays, and a bi-sected roof line, with the LF-1 previewing a full size SUV.
It should tackle the BMW X7, which goes into production late next year.
If the LF-1 Limitless concept is close to a production model, then the LF-1 concept may well combine the 220kW/348Nm 3.5-litre V6 petrol with a 132kW/300Nm electric motor to create a hybrid powertrain to take on the Range Rover Vogue PHEV.
January 15 is when the LF-1 is unveiled in its entirety, so stay tuned to find out more.
