Ford has again teased the new 2018 Ford Ranger Raptor thanks to a new video uploaded to YouTube.
The tagline for the new video is “Tested”, with the clip illustrating that the new truck is tested for any and all conditions.
Here’s what we know so far
Put the 7th of February 2018 in your diaries folks.
That’s when it’s said to be unveiled in full, and with it, all the technical details of its powerplant and transmission.
With its larger, BF Goodrich 285/70R17 tyres, it will have a full 245mm of ground clearance. Watts linkage suspension will ensure it won’t snap any leaf springs going over jumps.
There will be a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel mated to a 10-speed auto, but a manual hasn’t been ruled out as yet. We’re also hoping for some flappy paddles – we’ll see on that front.
