Green4U Technologies has unveiled a couple of all-electric SUVs at the Taxicab, Limousine & Paratransit Association (TLPA) Trade Show in Denver, Colorado. The MTU-6 SUV and Enova SUV are both six-door SUVs that have been designed with fleet use in mind.
Said to be able to cover 230 miles (370km) from a single charge, both SUVs are based on the same modular aluminum chassis and will be manufactured in the US, being available to customers from quarter two of 2018.
The Enova SUV will also be available in eight-door configuration, but not much else is known about the vehicles, with Green4U Technologies stating that it will announce full pricing and specifications closer to the vehicles’ launch.
Jack Perkowski, Green4U Technologies, Inc. CEO and co-founder said that the company has focussed on the fleet market because of their high operating costs.
“A company that has fleet vehicles traveling 50,000 miles a year can save thousands of dollars through lower fuel and maintenance costs,” said Perkowski. “Our engineers designed a lightweight and strong aluminium chassis and are optimizing electric drivetrains and systems to deliver the range and performance that fleet operators need.”
